Hi Michelle,

I'm in CB and have been eating raw since the end of Sept. Right now I'm 85-100% raw. The transition has been a little difficult since I still live in a SAD home and have to cook SAD.

Even so, the results have been great.

It would sure make things alot easier if there was a raw food restaurant in the area!

How long have you been raw? Are you a 100%? Whole Foods offer a raw food class once a month if you don't know about it. I haven't been able to make the class lately but I'm shooting for Jan. Maybe I'll see you there.

Like RM said there's a few more people outside the Omaha area. Check out the thread under the "Who are you" forums titled Neb or Ia.

Why don't you Omaha and nearby folks have a monthly potluck??! I want to start one down here in Columbia, MO. I'm interested in Omaha, though, as we lived there for 18 years before we came here in 2000, and sitll have 3 daughters there. We get up there 3 or 4 times a year. What about mcFoster's? They don't have any raw entrees? I went to Cafe Gratitude in Berkeley CA this last weekend ---all raw food--I ate like a pig --'loved it all!

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond back, I've been working 2 jobs and have not have much time to jump on the computer. I am aware of the raw food class at Whole foods but have not had the chance to attend. Do you know when the next one is. I am going to try and attend it.

A good fried of mine for many years who lives in Omaha has been mostly RAW for the last week. She's making some very good chices and I know is interested in touching base with the other Nebraska/Iowa folks. Her user name is times are a changin.
'Hope this helps you all to get conected! I've been RAW for a year and I'm still pretty much the only raw person I know here in Columbia, MO. Not to wory. We will most likely be moving back to Omaha in the next 5 years or so.;)
