I've had 3 migranes in 3 weeks with a continuous bad headache inbetween them. Is it just detox??

I'm not 100% raw but have eaten raw in the daytimes with a cooked evening meal for the past couple of months. The only thing different is that i gave up alcohol completely over 6 weeks ago after drinking far too much for many years. I''m sleeping lots too, going to bed about 11am and not waking up till 9 or 10am and then feeling tired and lethargic all day.

The headaches are so bad they are stopping me running ( i was doing up to 30 miles a week) and doing normal daily things.

Is this normal?:(

How long have you been raw?
Are you drinking enough water?
Have you given up caffeine?
I would bet it's detox. Just rest, drink water and oh yeah. Two words:
Green Smoothies

and... how are yur bowels moving? Keeping your bowels moving regularly -- getting those toxins out of you while you are detoxing is soooo IMPORTANT.

if you need help -- PRUNES work, a colonic works, I also have Yogi 'get regular' tea and cascara sagrada to help me along if I need it. CS is an herb - which helps to stimulate the peristaltic action of the colon - it is non habit forming.

In the past when I was getting horrible migraines regularly -- making sure that the toxins and poisons were able to be passed out of my body GREATLY reduced the migraines... and now - (thankfully) after many months raw - I am so happy to say - I haven't had a migraine -- they are a thing of my past and hallelujah to that!!

I do hope you're feeling better soon.... migraines are so awful...

Thanks folks, i'll take that info on board. I was thinking about booking a colonic, i think it could help but they are SO expensive here, £80.00 or $160! about $160!
