Do you have a personal story regarding your switch to a raw food diet and eliminating your airborne allergies?

This is one thing I have been battling since moving to the bay area 7 years ago, and I'm really hoping that eating raw will get rid of them. It has been two months and I haven't seen much change in this category. I currently take Singulair. I don't know if it is just this area, with its dense and varied vegetation which overwhelms my system no matter what I'm eating, or if it is something that I can actually heal by allowing my body to focus on things other than digestion. I hope it is the latter.
:)

I'd love to hear any stories regarding this, and if there were any specific steps you took that helped.

Thanks!

I suffered with indoor and outdoor allergies. Since going raw I don't need any of my allergy meds. I was on Singulair, an antihistamine with a decongestant, an antihistamine spray (when needed), monthly allergy shots and a steroid spray in the fall and spring. I just went through my first Fall raw and I don't take any meds except a night time antihistamine because I have insomnia. I just stopped them one by one when I felt like I didn't need them anymore.

That is fantastic! It is interesting, the first thing to be healed for me was my insomnia which I've had for probably 15 years (since highschool). Within days I stopped taking the simply sleep (yuck!) and/or melatonin which I've had to take since going back to work so I can get up on time. So there's hope for both of us!
