This "summer squash" is supposed to go into "Fettuccine Alfredo" (Alissa's recipe) but I haven't a clue which squash this is? Would someone please be able to tell me? It will take me some time to get organized here. So I'll be a pest for a while. Thank you in advance in case I don't get to write back immediately. Also, what is the difference between all the little icons down below and the first one (a page) which says "post"?

Here's a pic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_squash

I never use summer squash, I just use zucchini.

Thank you Ama. I have only seen the yellow crookneck squash but rarely, so I will try using just the zucchini too. It must work for you or you wouldn't do so.

I use zucchini too. It's perfect with marinara....

Thanks Oceanee. I guess I'll go with the zucchini for now. What a pretty name. Anything to do with loving the sea as I do? My dream is to live by the sea one day. I just caught a glimpse of something you wrote about "food addiction" and when I am not so tired or focusing so much on what to make to eat next (Im very new at this), then I'm going to read more of your posts, for sure as it looked interesting. I have been a sugar addict since I can remember - about 5 years old and now I am 61. I have hardly had any cravings - not even for coffee - since I began this on Saturday.

islegirl,I am an Aquarian and I need the sea nearby. If I could be in it everyday I would be thin and a mermaid (ha)! Best of luck, hope you have Alissa's book and dvd, they are so hopeful. I am going to bed now to reread A's book again !
