Just made my first flax crackers! Am so excited. My husband even liked them. I will have some later after more fruit. I need to know how to store them though. In a plastic bag? Paper bag? In or out of the fridge?
Thanks so much.

I freeze em. But, when you buy them online, they come in a plastic ziploc, and can be stored at room temp. So, as long as ALL of the moisture is out of them, it should be fine either place. However, if you aren't going to eat them within a month or so, the freezer is probably better so they don't get rancid. Make sure you press all of the air out of the bag so they don't get freezer burn!

Hi rawkchicster - just had a quick peek in your fridge and at your counter! What a wonderful idea to share such things with us! Gives us ideas. I ate 2 of the flax crackers with some eggless egg salad I had leftover and I'm afraid I wasn't crazy about them, but it may be because they are so new to me. And maybe I need to keep on experimenting with other raw toppings. But I can't get over how fabulous I feel. It's incredible! I can't wait to start blogging. Soon I hope. Thanks for the help - I'll freeze some and save rest in ziplock bags and EAT them!

so they do not get that plastic taste. I put them in glass bowl or container and loosely cover with saran...so its not touching them, they last a week for me this way. it may last longer but we eat them up too fast. freezing sounds good too.
