This past weekend, i felt as if i was eating too much food, but I couldnt resist. The problem was that i bought a lot of dried fruits and nuts in bulk and they are my weakness, so i have been scarfing them down when i'm at home on the weekend. i think on saturday, i ate 2 apples (one with almond butter), a banana, maybe a half cup of nuts total, 3 medjool dates, 1/4 cup of dried veggies, an orange, 1/2 cup pineapple, 3 figs, 10 dried apple rings, an avocado, half an ear of corn, and 3 dried apricots. i didnt have that fatigued bloated feeling, but i definitely felt really full. should i be cutting down on the dried fruit and nuts? a limitless amount of those foods seems too good to be true. and that isnt my typical daily routine, but after buying all the bulk food, i admit that i have been eating more dried fruits and nuts lately.

Hi mermaid,

Noooo, you didn't eat too much. At first, that will happen. The body is soooo happy to be receiving so many wonder-filled nutrients that it seems as though it can't get enough so it wants more and more. After it's been assured that it's going to get enough, the cravings will subside.

Might I suggest though, exchanging dried fruits for fresh, juicy ones? Reason being, dried, unless soaked first, will pull the water from your system to rehydrate it. If you don't wish to do that, drink waaaay more water than usual. You may find a change in bm's.

Enjoy!
