Okiedoke.. I started taking the VCO and knew that a lot of dieoff of whatever inside my body could show up in the form of a rash but OY.. I started to get a tiny itchy rash over the weekend on my right cheek and my left temple.
By Sunday morning it was much bigger on my cheek and temple and my left eye itched.
By this morning, it looked like one side of my face was melting. I put cold compresses on my face and sprayed some colloidal silver. What a mess. While it certainly is not pretty, the worst is that it itches and burns. Yaaayy. I do not think I can tolerate whatever dieoff is happening so I am gonna stop taking I think. Anyone else had better experience?
See how my eye is swollen? It was much worse this morning.

I tried to find out if it was just dieoff from candida but I havent had any response yet (and I do not really have any candidal symptoms!). Waaa I say unto me!!

I personally don't know what's causing that yet, my husband went through a similar phase ~ the whole right side of his face broke out in huge lumps and pustules. He was embarrassed. It lasted about 2 weeks. I suggested he keep on doing what he was doing (personally think it was from the amount of OJ he was drinking) and let it clear itself up. He did, it did and he's back to his beautiful Danish skin.
Now, how long have you been taking the VCO? Also, what else are you doing and how is it you contribute it to that?
My husband was drinking OJ for months before this occurred. VERY heavily for weeks since moving here. Thing is, he's still eating cooked sooooo, it just may happen again ~ now that he's home again.
Ah well!

Hmmmm.. I have been raw since the 4th of this month - I started taking the VCO last Wednesday, Friday I noticed the first patch of this.
I was reading on the VCO forums that people have rashes break out on their face because the VCO was killing off whatever funk inside their bodies. I was prepared for a rash, but not the swelling of my eye nearly shut and the burning hot of the rash! They had made more mention of fine bumps (which are there on top of the hot burning swollen parts!)
I havent eaten anything out of the usual (since the 4th). I have been having mostly the same thing - Nanners for breakfast, salad with avacado and cuc for lunch, marinara over zuch for dinner, or maybe fruit for dinner.
Who can know..hopefully someone.. I asked them there, but no one has touched the question either - ??
Thanks Revvell!!

Virgin coconut oil is supposed to kill yeast? I hadn't heard that.
I didn't know I had candida, either, but when I started eating a lot of fruit (including dried fruit) and nuts, I started getting an itchy, burning rash, it started on one eyelid and progressed. Then I did some research and traced it to candida. I'd never had any of the obvious symptoms, no yeast infections or thrush while nursing babies. So, even though you never experienced obvious candida symptoms before, doesn't mean you might not have this severe kind of reaction to candida die-off.

Brandilynn,
As I was in the shower it came to me that this sounds like a antihistamine effect. Try this ~ stop with the VCO and see if this subsides. If it does, give it about 3 more days, then try it again.
I would also suggest you vary your diet a bit ~ maybe a green smoothie for breakfast (greens are health building); do something different for dinner. IF you find it's not the VCO, I'm thinking the next possible culprit could be the tomatoes. Sometimes one's sytem doesn't react immediately ~ it might take a build-up time.
Injoy ~

Groovy, thanks Pailani and Revvell. I did not take any VCO today because I finished the first bottle yesterday - I will let you know what happens.
I never had any other symptoms of candida either Pailani - but I thought you know.. does not mean its not making a fine living inside me!!
Good idea about the tomatos, I will cut them out too if this does not leave.
I will look up the green smoothie recipes..get a few of them going on!
Thank yall!
