Is it okay to do the Master Cleanse while 100% raw? What about the tea you are supposed to drink every night. Isn't that not raw? And the maple syrup? I'd like to do some sort of intense detox. Would you recommend doing just a juice fast instead? I've been 100% almost 6 months. Thanks!
If it bothers you to use the maple syrup many people use agave nectar instead. I just started another master cleanse today and I choose to still do the laxative tea even though it is not raw. Ultimately it is up to you. Personally I love the Master Cleanse.:)

Yep! I'm with Morn -- I'm 100% RAW... I use the maple syrup b/c it seems to really help stave off hunger. I've used the MC lemonade with agave and got hungry - I've used it with honey - and got hungry - but with maple syrup... no hunger.
personally - I don't 'sweat' the small stuff. My major consumption is raw vibrant foods, small stuff - honey - maple syrup, spices... occasional teas... nbd .. I also use a 'get regular tea'. The salt in the SWF really messes with my system. Staying regular and getting the toxins OUT ... is key to the success of the MC...
I loooove the MC too! instead of coffee... the MC lemonade is my first morning drink almost everyday.
feel free to jump into the MC feast going on right now! You'll find it here in the fasting section... RAWK ON!!

Hi Morn:
The MC process sounds so brutal. What's the positive about it? And how can someone in a business setting 9-5 manage it?
Thank you,
Maria
Hey Kittymom -
I guess everyone responds differently, however, for me it has been wonderful (for cleansing and weightloss, breaking plateaus etc.). I don't do the salt water flushes, just the laxative tea at night and the first thing in the morning have a bm. It isn't brutal on me at all that way. It is seriously easier to consume this than any other juice fast or food while working. Hardly any prep time at all and you don't even have to take time away from your work to eat lunch, etc. You just juice up a bunch of lemons (which you can do several days at once), make your lemonade in a container and bring it with you for the day and that is all you need. With the maple syrup in it I am never hungry. I guess I don't know what you mean.

All the trips to the bathroom that I've heard about--how the heck could I do that while in my office, you know?

I was able to go about my normal day while on the cleanse, although I did have to take many trips to the bathroom throughout the day. Bring a can of deodorizer maybe?

I am new to this and could really use some advise. I started on November 1st and went 100% raw. I went through chemo and radiation 2 years ago and would love to detox my liver and the rest of me. All the replies are speaking of MC lemonade and a tea. I gathered that MC is Master Clean or Master Cleanse, however is this a specific product that you can purchase or is it just that you take lemons, make a juice and add maple syrup?
Any advise would be great.
Thanks:
