I would love a recipe for a plain bread or cracker that doesn't require flax seeds, nuts, or braggs. Braggs is so strong it takes over the taste of most breads. I want it to be plain, so if I want to experiment with spices I can. I do love sesame seeds though. Yet, it would taste wonderful with a fruit spread or nut butter.

I really like Oat grouts sprouted, they are very mild and yummy. I also have buckwheat groats.

Please any ideas or recipes?

Well.... Not sure if that's what you are looking for, buuut:

The most plain (and to me, the most delicious) is just simple Essene bread!
Sprout wheat, process sprouts and spread out and dry (I just dry it in front of my little radiator on baking paper, and I like the consistency best after about 24-36 hrs).
Or just do the same using buckwheat instead of the wheat. I personally love buckwheat, because it's kind of soft, and kind of "nutty" in taste. :)

Edit: I also cover the upper side of my breads with loads of my beloved sesame (when I spread the dough out for drying). Might be an idea for you as well?

That is one bread I was thinking of trying. Thanks!

Anymore recipes? Anyone?:)

Hi,

This Chickpea Bread (http://www.living-foods.com/recipes/flatbread.html) looks good; you could leave out the cumin.

This Flat Bread (http://www.living-foods.com/recipes/flatbread.html) looks really good too. If I were to make it plain, I'd use salt instead of Bragg's and leave out the caraway seeds and use buckwheat or wheat sprouts for the stronger-flavored rye.

ETA: And here is a basic Essene Bread (http://www.living-foods.com/recipes/wigmore.html) recipe.
Best,
