I found Veganbear's recipe for Chocolate, Chocolate Brownies on goneraw yesterday...they are THE best I've had..very much like a "real" brownie.
1 1/2 cups macadamia nuts (soaked 4 hours)
1 cup date (soaked 4 hours)
1/4 cup soak water
3/4 cup cacao powder
1 tsp.vanilla extract
1/3 cup agave
Process macs in fp till slightly pasty
mix in all other ingredients till well mixed and a smooth paste
use an ice cream scoop to portion on a teflex sheet
with wet hands shape as desired
Dehydrate for 12 hours, turning when dry on top and a crust forms
cool and top w/chocolate of choice
I added a cup of chopped walnuts, folded in at the end
I forgot the agave...arghhhhhhhhhh!! BUT they are still delicious and not TOO sweet...I haven't added the frosting yet but will use the store bought frosting recipe and store in the fridge.
Will post a pic in a little while~:D
Thanks VeganBear for such a fantastic recipe!!!
