So after being successful quite a while back at finally taking that first step away from my cooked food addition I was raw for 5 days, then I gave it up and am more addicted I think before, anyhow, my husband gave me his cold and now my poor sinuses are hurting so bad, nose running, brain foggy, etc, so I figured since I was already sick now is a good time as any to go back to the one and only way I always think about and that is Raw. So tomorrow back I go! Pray for me as I face my addiction head on!

try a saline sinus rinse two or three times per day and a TON of Airborne. (airborne=not raw I think....but very good stuff.....unless you wanna put together your own herbs...but I am to lazy. I like the grape and fruit punch ones. heh.) Hope you feel better and congrats on moving forward w/raw!:D

about airborne, i don't recall where i got this information but it apparently doesn't do what it claims, it can not for whatever reason. I'm sorry that's so cryptic anf vague! haha

I don't have airborne, but I do have those emergen-C packets which have echinacea and 1000 mg of vit C so hopefully that will help, they are pretty tastey too

Just drink a ton of water and forget about all those 'cures', yes, even the natural ones... your body will heal itself when it is ready to.

This may or may not help you but recently when I was catching someone's flu I took all my vitamens and even though I was hungry I went to bed without eating supper, a semi fast, and woke up well. I've read on here that a cold or flu is your body tying to clean out something toxic and that you help it by not burdening it with more to do. But lots of water does help in that process but make sure it is purified. And a little lemon in your water doesn't hurt.

That is pretty much what I have been doing is a semi fast, I was always told that when you have a cold or flu whatever it is, lots of water little food. THanks, I am feeling better today, stayed home from work again, they sent me home yesterday, haha, but after a day I am doing much better!
