View Full Version : My two new cravings

1) Raw apple cider vinegar in water with a little agave
2) spoonfuls of Xtra virgin coconut oil
honestly, i'm feeling like i could subsist on these two things and the occasional kale/avo salad with lemon.
my skin is driving me so crazy, i wonder if this is psychological, or if my body is telling my brain "No duh! She's dry as a cracker. Feed her oil!"
And the ACV is standing in nicely for the kombucha, which i also love, but which feels very expensive right now.
I'm not sure what I'm asking.

Hey Rawsweetie, what are the measurements you use per cup for ACV & agave?

I use about 2TBS of ACV and a squirt of agave in 8 oz. water. :)
The recipe on the braggs acv bottle suggests 2tsp, but I read 2tbs elsewhere on the web and like the stronger taste.

i also make a kombucha-like concoction using acv! and i am so addicted to my variation-on-a-theme acv-flax oil salad dressings, i could drink them straight. okay, i have.

It's so good to be among friends!
To think, 2 months ago, I never would have imagined seeing my bottle of ACV on the counter and thinking, "Mmmm....yummy!"
Bottoms up!

Thankx to you rawsweetie I pulled my ACV out from the back of the cupboard, pulled out my Braggs book, re-read it and am re-inspired.

Good for you!
I love how it makes me feel. I've got to invest in a reusable plastic straw b/c there is some concern about protecting teeth from the wearing effects of the vinegar. Better safe than sorry.
