7 months raw with Pics!!

Ok, yikes! Warning - these are not pretty, but I think they show some wonderful results. I've been raw for 7 months now, and have lost 50lbs so far (you can read about my journey thus far in this (http://rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=34764) thread). A bit more to go, plus a massive amount of toning, but I think it's pretty amazing to see the before and afters (no matter how unflattering they are, lmao :p )

I'll attach the front and back shots here, and the side shots in the next post.

Awww, THANK YOU everyone!! You brought tears to my eyes, and a HUGE grin to my face, lol!

I remember when I was first starting out with raw foods, hearing stories and seeing pictures REALLY helped to inspire and motivate me. There were many times I would get an intense craving, and instead of acting on it, I would hop on to this very board and search for success stories and results pictures. They immediately helped me curb the craving, and become excited about this journey all over again. I am SOOO happy that I am now able to pay that forward to others. Knowing my story/pictures can and will help to motivate or inspire some of you, wow - that's what it's all about!!!

Thank you all so much for the kind comments. They really did warm my heart. Knowing how far I have come, the HEALTHY way this time, fills me with such satisfaction. Hearing others say that they can see that pride and excitment shining through ... thank you!!!

Honestly, not really. As soon as I switched my thinking from feeling like I was "dieting" and feeling deprived, to knowing I was making a lifestyle change ... it was and is pretty easy. It's just food. We all need food to survive. I'm just choosing to pick the most healthful food options available to me. I used to live to eat (I was consumed with food, and everything food related), and now I'm just eating to live. I mean, I do still get cravings sometimes. And there are times when I get frustrated, and wish I could just "conform" a bit more to the ideal of "socially acceptable" just because it would make life easier at times. But those moments are growing further and further apart. I'm becoming more and more confident in the choices I make, and in the person I am (this was a big issue of mine coming into raw ... self esteem/self confidence). I like who I am (a non conformist in every way, lmao), and I'm proud of the paths I have and am taking. That makes it easier and easier every day.
