What would you recommend for this condition?

I don't know any Chinese Medicine or Ayurvedic or other non-conventional applications, but would LOVE to know. If you have any knowledge of or have heard of any "folk" remedies, herbals, potions, combinations, tinctures, etc., please share them here (vegan only).

Only things I have been told is that drinking water and coconut water helps.
That's it.

There was a product H-Minus from the E3_Live people which was useless.
Adding a bit of Himalayan salt was also no help.

Best,

P.S. Where's MissLinda when you need her? ;)

Do you know what is causing the dehydraton in the first place??? That might be a start? Are you not feeling well? To much salt?

Thai coconuts are extremely high in electrolytes, so that helps. But if there is an underlying cause you will just spin your wheels and need to address that also.

Hope you find an answer soon. I hate when I feel parched and dehydrated.

Hope you feel better soon.

Coconut water is amazing and I also agree with Tigger... if there is an underlying condition you must address this first. I drink coconut water if I've had any alcohol and after any and all exercise. It really is amazing! :D

Thanks, Tiggerbounce and Justine :).
It's actually for someone experiencing the effects of the extreme dry weather and the bad air from the California fires. At least that's what we think it is. That's when it seems to have started. VERY parched skin, but on the face only, in the eyes and around the mouth. Very, very strange. I've never seen under the eyes dried like leather. Red, chapped, itchy and flaky. I really don't know what to tell her. It's the oddest thing I've ever seen.
She's drinking a lot, sipping throughout the day, no caffeine, 99% RAW. She's 4 years raw foodist, and does not suspect detox. Has not consumed anything suspicious.

Thanks

She could try cucumber juice too ~ that should at least give some relief for her skin! Oil pulling might also help remove toxins that she might be taking in from the fire. I seem to post about that a ton but both of those things have been phenomenal for me. Best of luck.....:)
