Most MSM is made from the sulfur in garlic so why not just get it from the source ?

I am using a powder as well, Source Naturals, which I got at my local health food store. It was only 8.99 per bottle. I noticed a difference ( i am using it for some lingering joint pain from birthing) immediately. Could you mix powder with oil or face lotion and apply it topically?
