Alissa's book finally arrived in the mail this week. I've read to the testimonial section.

I know there is a place where she said caffeine and coffee are not raw; I still have not found a place in her book where she says not to drink herbal teas.
Have I missed something?

Purists often avoid heated teas.

Many teas do need to be steeped in order to get full benefits, but I do not think that you need to boil them. I just use warm water and let them steep for about 15 minutes. There are teas that I drink regularly for their benefits and would not give them up. But I don't generally go above 120 degrees with the water. That is just my personal choice.

Many here at RFT do drink herbal teas. That is one of those debates that rages on that you will see pop up now and again. Some people will use honey, others won't. That sort of thing. Sort of depends on how you feel about it. Most will shy away from coffee though. Especially caffeinated.

I am sure others will along to chime in though.

Hope this helps.
