I'm looking for feedback as to which of these juicers (the Omega 8003 or the Green Star 1000) is the quicker one to do the job, is efficient and easiest to clean up. I have the Green Star but it is a pain to clean and it does take so long. I really need some help here if more of you out there would be kind enough to tell me about your Omega 8003's. Thanks so much and have a great day.

I had another question but forgot to ask it. Does anyone have the "Lequip" juicer model 215 that is advetised on Alissa's appliance site and how do you like it? I like the idea of the large chute. But I want to hear from others out there. Again, thanks in advance.

Last night I picked up my VitaMix and exchanged juicers - so now I have the Omega 8003 as well as the Excalibur dehydrator and my old food processor. So tomorrow I will begin again - 100% raw. Today I had coffee again, so I don't feel I am giving it my all yet. Have to really take some time to uncook some recipes. Talk to you all later.

My Omega 8003 takes about 5 minutes to clean. I just fill a big bowl with soapy water and put all the parts in it. The only thing that I really have to scrub is the screen and it is very easy to do. Rinse and place in the dish drainer.
There are a lot of juicers out there and the best juicer is the one that works best for the person buying it. I went to u tube and looked long and hard at all the videos showing the juicers in action and decided on the Omega 8003. Is that the best juicer? I don't know but I like it and its the best for me because it can do wheat grass as well as carrots etc.

i have both the omega 8003 and the lequip. For the money the Lequip is a fine juicer but it is centrifugal and it leaves wet pulp. I have in the past had a Champion and an Acme, but the Omega 8003 is the best one for me. Others like the green star may be good but the cost and clean up is a big downside. I like the Omega not only for the quick clean up but the fact it does soft fruits and wheat grass. When it comes to juicing look for value and that value may be a few more dollars but it will pay you back in satisfaction. just my opinion
