Hey everyone!

I did it! My first ever raw Thanksgiving. I can't figure out how to post pictures here but I have my whole meal posted on my blog. I am so happy that I was able to do this. It is a huge accomplishment for me! Thanks to all of you for your wonderful recipes, ideas, and support. It really helped a lot!

I did it! My first ever raw Thanksgiving.Congratulations on a raw Thanksgiving. Nice blog and food pictures of your day. :) I had a raw thanksgiving also so I am on my 115th day of all raw (Aug 1st).

Thanks to all of you. This board had been great. Lots of wonderful recipes and tons of support.

Justine - unfortunately I was the only one who ate raw. Everyone else had a traditional SAD meal. I am hoping that by next year to have them all at least vegan if not raw. My husband is a hold out. He wants his meat. Our almost 3 year old is vegetarian, and I'm pushing to get the others there as well, and then on to vegan. My husband has been very supportive of me and is accepting more and more vegetarian meals. Before we had meat, and lots of it, every night for dinner. Now I am making vegetarian meals about 3-4 days a week. So I am making progress with him. The children will eat anything but two of my boys want whatever Daddy has so that is something I have to contend with.

Anyways, thanks again to everyone here. You guys are the best!

YAY! :D So happy for you!!! What an accomplishment! I made it through too, but it was just the four of us, no company or family - so it was all raw. Having all the SAD traditional food around you, and even having to cook it, is the true test girl!!! You rawk!:D

Congratulations! That is wonderful.

I know what it is like to be going this way while your family is not. They DO make changes, though, even if it is very slowly. I keep telling myself it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as they are moving in that direction.
