My step-dad just got test results. He had been very tired and weak lately. He has mds.
"The myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS, formerly known as "preleukemia") are a diverse collection of hematological conditions united by ineffective production of blood cells and varying risks of transformation to acute myelogenous leukemia. Anemia requiring chronic blood transfusion is frequently present. Although not truly malignant, MDS is nevertheless classified within the haematological neoplasms."
So. He's a big meat-eater. I've tried talking to my mom about raw foods, but everytime I bring it up, all she says is "meat is his staple food, he'd die before giving it up"
Would raw even help for something like this??
He also has dialysis for his kidneys every 2-3 days. He's had kidney problems forever.
Is this just beyond repair or can he get better with raw foods? Cause I will show him info myself if my mom is so damn unwilling to.
