We haven't eaten it yet!! LOL! I have to wait for dh to get home from work... and we should probably eat dinner first too. DANG! Although that is never a bad thing when you eat raw... we've got some rawkin' raw chili waiting for us tonight :D

O.k. so the cake was a hit. That is my two year old baby girl finishing her slice and getting ready to start on her sister's leftovers. Thank goodness we have some for tomorrow too. The girls love the fact that they get to eat cake for dinner. ;)

Total n00b question: Is the raw chili served cold? As in raw like it hasn't been heated at all?

thanks, chris

Hey Chris ~ the chili is raw but we do warm it a bit in the dehydrator. The chili powder is spicy so we tend not to miss the "heat" of the fire so to speak. I made enchilada shells (is that what you'd call them? Doesn't seem right. Anyway...) and we put the leftover chili in them and they were OUTSTANDING. We topped with Ms. Snow's ranch dressing. To live for!

I'm sorry Ms. Yeshia ~ the recipe is Ani Phyo's so I am not sure I can post it here per copywrite infringment. I'm not going to jail again ~ they don't serve raw there! ;) It does involve a macadamia nut crust and a cashew top though....

k....here ya go....!:D Now, jes add the raspberry swirl (zap some berries with sweetener and maybe some sort of thickener like psyllium and swirl into cheesecake before chilling - strain seeds if you prefer seedless)
