Which sea vegetables can be eaten raw besides Nori? How are they prepared?

Arame, hijiki, sea plam, dulse, kombu etc; just soak and then make a sea veggie salad. We eat one daily.
You can also add dulse flakes to a green smoothie (Ann Wigmore's energy soup)

Wakame and cucumber
Soak wakame and slice

Thinly sliced cucumbers

A dressing of carrot, ginger, olive or raw sesame oil, nama shoyu and lemon juice in vitamix

Sprinkle with sprouted sesame seeds

You can also omit carrot if you don't want an orange dressing. We often add greens to that basic salad too.

deberaw ~ I'm not sure how you feel about it, but Alissa has a great tahini dressing recipe in her book.......also, when I'm feeling lazy, I just thin out about 1 tbs. tahini with a little water to make it more 'dressing like'. I'm not a huge fan of sea veggies, but with the tahini, I could eat loads of it!
