Hi! I am coming off of a 15 day juice fast (maybe longer if I feel like it) and would like to transition to whole fruits and veggies. I know not to consume fat right away, just stick to the light stuff. Does anyone have an oil free (fat free) yet delish salad dressing recipe I can use?

Thanks!

1 orange
small piece of ginger
fresh parsley
and if you don't have a date that night then a clove or a half clove of raw garlic

blend away

I find that blended fruits and berries make great fat free dressings.

A favorite of mine is fresh raspberries and some apple cider vinegar, blended up and poured on top of a spinach salad.

RAW DRESSINGS

1. You take an acid fruit: lemon, limes, tomato, tamarind, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pomelo, pineapple, passion fruit, etc.

2. You take a fatty food: sesame, hemp, sunflower, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, macadamia, cashews, avos, coconut, etc

3. You take a filler veggie: celery, cucumbers, sweet bell peppers, etc

Blend. Given than you could easily find 20 acid fruits (there are easily 20 varieties of tomatoes alone), and 10 sources of fat, and 5 fillers, this would give you 1000 different salad dressing combinations.

by fat free do you mean no nuts/seeds? orange juice with tahini always goes down well if I serve it for to other people.
I like a blend of tomato, garlic, basil, oregano, lemon juice
