have a receipe that my sister-inlaw used. Its raw and pretty good. It tastes just like the cranberry sauce, but with the consistency of applesauce.

Here it is:

She calls it Sassy Sauce

6 medium apples, peeled, and cut into pieces
1-12oz bag fresh craberries
agave nectar to taste. My family likes it on the sweet side
2-Tbs apple juice or other fruit juice

Place apples and cranberries in food processor in batches if necessary. Pulse several times to chop. Add sweetner and juice. Process until pureed. Refrigerate 3 hrs before serving.

I did this in my vitamix and added water in stead of juice and we ate it immediatel However, this is a good make ahead receipe. It could be made ahead a day or two

I just saw a similar recipe with pears instead of apples.
