I would appreciate anyone in Texas giving me raw eateries, events, magazines in the great Lone Star State so I may post links to my blog.

Thanks so much

THanks for the input. I'm going to put the meetup for Dallas and Houston on my blog. I moved from the dallas area August 06 to Houston. I miss Dallas:(

I do think there are a few in the Denton area. I'll check it out.

Okay. me and my best friend (non-raw) are going. I want her to see what I'm talking about from the angle of others.

The Whole Foods in downtown Austin has a raw foods lunch counter with several raw entrees and rotating specials. There's also a case of raw foods that you can buy (like raw hummus, raw cheesecake, etc). I'm eating their raw carrot cake right now, actually. If you have a special occasion and don't mind the drive, you could come eat here. Or you might be able to call the Whole Foods and have them mail you stuff. I ordered a whole raw cheesecake for my birthday in August. It cost an arm and a leg, but it tasted amazing, and it was really fun to have something that everyone, raw and not, enjoyed.

Carlsbad, I'm guessing that Whole Foods doing raw is a local thing, because when I mention raw at mine here in Dallas, they act like I'm talking a foreign language!! I'm soooo jealous! Ladypeace, we need to start our own raw deli! Dallas is sooooooo backwards to have so many rawbies! Cowlovers!!

I would like to have a few more raw options in the DFW area. I am aware of some potlucks but the only restaurant was pure and that was not open long and is now closed.

The Spiral Cafe in Fort Worth and a recently opened location in Dallas is Vegan/Vegetarian but is very very good about diner's choice and will sometimes prepare dishes upon request. So might have some aditional options there. I would call.

Sorry I have no more ideas.
