Where do you buy your spices? Right now I purchase mine from a local grocery store but would like to see if there are some online resources for organic spices.

The Jewel by my house has organic spices in the health food aisle. They periodically go on sale for Buy1 Get1 Free.

I've used Trinity Herb for years. They recently sold out to another company, but they're still organic. You can purchase bulk herbs and spices from them. Maybe people in the same community could do a group order and split it up?

Much cheaper that way. They also have really nice essential oils.

My health food store or food co-op..also our local chain, "Meijer" has some organic spices as well, but I prefer the health food store or People's Food Co-op because I buy just what I need..........

My local food co-op (as well as Fred Meyer and Top Foods out here in WA) sells the Frontier brand organic spices and seasonings in bulk and it's WAAAAYYY cheaper going that route than getting a new container each time. So, that's where I get mine from...I just get little bags of what I need in the amount that I need and pay anywhere from under $1 to about $2 depending. I keep them stored in these tiny mason-type jars that are for canning jellies, etc.

I try to buy as much as I can from my local health food store. They are really good to my daughter and I and do all kinds of special orders for us. So I buy most of my spices there. If they don't have what I want and can't get it quickly, I will get it from the grocery store. Most of the stores around here sell organic.

Mine sell organic as well but I'm hoping to find huge containers of spices because I tend to run out of chili powder a lot and a few other ones and I can rarely find large containers in my area.
Thanks for the links I'll check them out.

I recommend - Mountain Rose Herbs
All organic and non-irradiated
Another plus - you can buy in 1/4, 1/2 or 1 pound quantities!
All the best!

grocery store or hfs... our grocery store has a section (albeit a tiny section!) of organic spices. Sometimes I cannot afford organic though - so -- since I'm not one to 'sweat the small stuff...' I eat the best I can! :D
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/eatingsmiley.gif ... that's um... zucchini noodles and raw marinara of course!!! ;) (oh and the little brown things are mushroom caps!) http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/th357582627l0ng1ru-11.gif
