I got a FoodSaver vacuum sealer last year to vacuum seal raw meals but I know most raw food normally only keeps 24-48 hours in the fridge. Would vacuum sealing make it last 5 days?
How do I know when something's no longer good before the obvious mold?
I end up making virtually everything right before I eat it because I never know if something keeps for 12 hours or 5 days.
Is there a trick? I just saw in the fridge thread that someone is keeping raw sauce, doesn't that go bad like in 2 days in the fridge?
Thanks
