Greetings to you all. I have been 'raw' for almost three weeks now but those three weeks were part of a detox and now that that phase is over, I want to continue on this path of extra energy, mental clarity, ( ok a wee bit of PMS) and overall well being.
A little about myself: I teach languages and literature at the university (German and Portuguese) and am applying for phD programs. I live part time in California and part time in Brasil and have a lovely 4 legged- daughter.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and soak up all the information available.

Cheers!

Oi Snackies! It's so nice to have you here. :) You'll have plenty of info to soak up, that's for sure!!

I teach English to Brazilians here in Massachusetts, and we (my Brazilian hubby and I) have a house in Brazil. One day I WOULD LOVE to do what you're doing and live part time in both places! You are too lucky!

Can't wait to hear and share more. :D

Welcome to RFT....I enjoyed reading your introduction. My husband just got back from Brasil on business and loved it there. He said it's beautiful and the people treated him so kindly. I also found it interested that you teach language at the university. I have a daughter right now that is going to school to do just that. She is finishing her last semester at Utah valley university and will be transfering to BYU, which is about 5 miles from Brigham Young University. The first language she's learning is Spanish. My oldest son took 3 years of German in high school and speaks the German language fluently. For the last 1 1/2 years he's been living in Germany, Austria and the Switzerland area....he absolutely loves it there but has found that German in Munich, Vienna, Graz etc are all the same language but very different. Okay, so back to raw foods. You'll love all the wealth of information you can glean from so many and it's just fun!!! Good luck and it will be fun to hear how your doing with raw.
