Hi.
I am sure that somewhere in the 101 pages in this forum this question may have been asked and answered, but I can not find it. I am doing the recipe for marinated Greens. Have combined everythig and it is to set for a few hours or over night. Here is the question. While it is sitting, is that on a counter or in the frig? HELP!

I let my greens sit out on the counter for about an hour or so b/c the warmth from the room helps to breakdown the greens a little faster than it would in the fridge. Then I put it in the fridge overnight and chow down the next day. Ok ok...i do munch on some even as they are marinating...what can I do..they are soo good. :D Hope that helps.

BTW, what do you put in your marinade? I use lemon juice, olive oil, crushed garlic, jalepeno, rep pepper flakes, a touch of cider vinegar, salt and agave.

Same here..if its a few hours I pop them on the side

overnight, I tend to really overspice, put them in the fridge and then before serving about an hour leave them to warm up a bit

I scrunch them with my hands, adding sea salt-- especially kale and collards since they are so so tough

fresh garlic-- or my own lazy boy garlic (marinated in a huge mason jar- kept in the fridge)
lemon
cayenne
chilli
local peppers
