I have a nice little wrinkly passionfruit that's ready to be devoured. Is the rind edible? How do you eat a passionfruit?

hi, no i don't think you can eat then rind, i don't its pretty hard, just cut in half and get a little spoon and eat. it looks rather squiggy and strange but i love passion fruit to me it tastes fizzy, yummy

Yup you gotta cut it in half and scoop out the flesh. Either eat as is, pop in smoothies (goes great with mango) or use as a garnish for another fruit like strawberries. They're yummy :)

the rind is not edible....

you can cut it in half and scoop it up with a spoon - eat the seeds and all.

hawaiian style - we bite the top off and slurp it up out of the hole! :D

makes a wonderful addition to coconut oils - for a sweeter salad dressing... add some thai basil yummm...

also excellent added to raw ice creams!
