Anyone ever try this? I thought it would lesson chopping time and create nice uniform pieces - plus I don't care for the smell on my cutting board!

Nope, never tried it, but it looks like it would be cool to have.
I do have lots of kitchen gadgets, and I've found that I use most of them.
I love having a special tool, even if it does only one job, if it does that job well, it's way worth the money, and time and energy to store it and clean it.
Looks like it would be a plus in any raw kitchen.
You gonna' get one?

LOL - well I already did! Tee hee. I got some money for my b-day last week and I got that (the cheapest place I found - free shipping too) and also picked up a couple of herb keepers. The Herb Keeper is only 9.99 through Amazon but I ended up getting 2 of them locally as they were only $1 more and saved me shipping costs. I like to keep cilantro and parsley around, and apparantly these things keep herbs fresh for up to 3 weeks. Now I have my eye on a Tetsubin tea pot!
I'm glad you understand my Gadget Queenism! Uh, oh. When I worked with Pampered Chef we consultants called them Kitchen Tools. Maybe one day I can roam around your kitchen, LOL.
I can't wait to dice up an onion in one fell swoop!

This looks neat. I too have a kitchen tool mania! Hubby joked in the beginning of my going raw that I was only doing it to collect more gadgets! :D
