total newbie!

I bought a house with a backyard! I'm so excited. We move in December 14th. I am brand new to gardening but I want to learn and I want to grow everything! Can anyone recommend a good book on organic gardening for beginners?

I just received " the square foot gardener' from amazon.com upon recommendations and good reviews. I also ordered one of those earth box's from amazon cause they have free shipping vs shipping charges from earth box website.If you want to read about earth box you can go to their website with forums and read the reviews on amazon.I wanted to start in a small way with the earth box before I get bigger.I also ordered on of the aerogardens--just planted that.

the good news is that you have all winter to plan! i actually don't have any recommendations (not very helpful i know) for books but when I first tried my hand at gardening I had HUGE plans and the whole thing got away from me, so my advice is to start SMALL, figure out what grows for you and what tanked.
