Does anyone have a favorite?
I've never done one, but am planning to soon.

I love The Master Cleanse (http://files.meetup.com/788681/TheMasterCleanse.pdf)by Stanley Burroughs. Lots of support forums on the web to answer your questions, too.
I did 11 days on spicey lemonade, laxative tea, and salt water flushes (the poor man's colonic!). A fascinating and incredibly healing process, at least it was for me.
(Its amazing the kind of stuff that is still coming out of you after not eating solid food for that long...)

Bowtrol and Liquid Fast, add a fiber source too.

Thanks for that link Maui. I'm going to start the salt water tomorrow. Methinks there is an issue that a good flush can help.
I'll post my experience here after a week or so of trying this.

FYI: i think it was about day 6 of no solid foods, along with the lemons and cayenne loosening everything up, before the real nasty stuff released during the salt water flushes.

The salt water flushes did seem to be moving something through, but it was difficult to get the formula right. Sometimes 1 tsp in 2 Qt water worked and sometimes it didn't. That is to say, one time there was clearly a flush and another time there was no flush, but I ended up urinating like crazy for the next 8 hours.
So I tried the bentonite & psyllium route with enough, but not an overwhelming amount of water. After two weeks, nothing seemed to be any different? I can only hope the bentonite was doing its job of removing heavy metal toxins from the intestinal tract.
Since I already eat well, drink plenty of filtered water and the juice of 6-8 lemons/limes per day, I abandoned the flush and will trust that over time these good habits will do all the cleaning and detoxing I'm hoping for.
Oh yeah, the "issue" I was referring to was an unreal amount of intestinal gas & bloating. It does not appear that the flushed helped that so much as just eating less, but more nutritionally dense food. I've included a superfood powder and the blue-green algae to help cut down the total quantity of other foods consumed. And the gas/bloating is gone. :)
