I did SO WELL at the farmers market today!

1 bunch bananas
5 apples
3 pomengrante
5 Haas avocados
2 Florida avocados
4 mangos
1 papaya
1 plummelo
6 lemons
1 pineapple
1lb dried papaya
1lb dried mango
3/4 of a pound unblanched raw almonds
2 lbs died banana chips

For $45. I thought that was pretty good! The place is awesome...has basically everything I need! :)

What state do you live in? I've never seen mango at a farmers market (jealous :D )

I'm in Eastern, Pa...but they import from everywhere. It is an awesome place, but the stuff isn't organic.

That is so great. I know what you mean about organic, sometimes the non-organic vendors have such a great energy that it feels good to buy from them, rather than the grumpy organic guy I sometimes see.

You guys are so lucky!!! My farmer's market closed for the season in Oct. :(
Strickly grocery stores for me until May again. (sniff, sniff)
