I saw a thread somewhere about this topic and now I can't find it again. Does anyone know more details about washing with honey? Do you just glob it on all over your face and wash it off, that simple? Do you mix it with anything, warm it slightly? etc. I've been using coconut oil to wash with and a warm wash cloth to rinse. Can I do this everyday? Thanks for any suggestions!!!

Yep, just glob it on, rub it around and rinse. I do like to wet my hands first so it's not quite so hard. I use coconut oil for a moisturizer on my skin. Yes, you can do this daily.

Thanks, hippiechick704. I'm looking forward to trying this. I'm also doing oilpulling. I'm learning all sorts of new things today.

Is it necessary to rinse the coconut oil off? Wouldn't it be better to let it soak in and then wash your face with just water, at a different time?

Bobby, I think they are referring to rinsing the honey off, but only moisturizing with the coconut oil. :)

I wash my face with honey every day, wet my hands put a little drop of honey rub my hands over my face and wash it off right away. I don't really let it sit on my face but I heard that if you have acne you can do that for like ten minutes then wash it off. My mother recently commented on how fantastic my skin looks without makeup and has been converted to a honey user as well lol.
For the coconut oil I just put a tiny bit on my face when it is dry because I think the honey works good at keeping my face clean but not dried out.

Most people think of honey as very sticky...but it rinses off very quickly and easily...makes a great face wash. If you want a deeper clean you can mix it w/almond pulp (left over from making almond milk). It works as both a moisturizer and an exfoliant.

Wow, there's an interesting idea... So, would this help with acne??? Using honey instead of (or in addition to) regular wash?

Hi I was wondering about this honey wash? Where do you get your honey from? Does it really work for acne?

I have yet to try the honey, but I can vouch for coconut oil as a moisturizer. I love it! I put it on my face every night before bed. I just dab it on, rub it in, and let it soak in. I think it's amazing. I was scared at first that I'd break out, but nothing so far. I think it's made my skin very soft and smooth. ;)
