Broccoli Bugs

I think they're aphids. Does anyone know how to get them out of the florets in broccoli? I'm not against eating bugs, and I'm sure I've eaten quite a few over the years, BUT I've noticed there are A LOT of these bugs in broccoli and soaking in water or salt water doesn't help. It's gross. Any suggestions?

I use a veggie wash or when I'm in a pinch I use my (organic) dish soap.

I find washing the broccoli or whatever in lightly salted water helps -- or just rinsing the little critters off under the cold running tap... I'm afraid it kills them -- but does mean you can eat the broccoli. Depends how you feel about that --otherwise if I'm in Buddhist mode, I just put the stuff on the compost heap so they can go on living.
