Hi all,
I was telling my friend about raw today and she was pretty interested. It's her birthday at the weekend and I'd like to give her something raw, sweet and yummy to try. I would love to make her raw brownies or something but she has a nut allergy. I'm looking for something that I can bring into school to give her, and preferably doesn't contain any coconuts or hard-to-find ingredients. It would also be good if it doesn't need to be dehydrated. Any suggestions?

Chocolate Pudding / Tootsie Rolls

• 3 avocados
• ½ cup cocoa
• ¾ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 cup Sucanat/maple syrup/honey
• enough water to thin if necessary

Mix together in food processor until smooth. Use as frosting or pudding, or dehydrate & roll into Tootsie Rolls.

Or how about a smoothie (if you have a way to make it just before you give it to her. My faves...

* orange juice
* bananas
* frozen strawberries

OR

• freshly squeezed pineapple juice
• frozen strawberries

Blend together until smooth.

OR

orange goji white chocolate is REALLY good, but has cashews & fancy ingredients. good luck!

Thank you! I have made an avocado chocolate pudding before but never thought of dehydrating it! Fab. Smoothie is also a good idea. I could make it before school then give her a raw breakfast feast :)

Orange gogi white chocolate sounds incredibly good, I would like to make it sometime but I don't have time to get any ingredients at the moment! If you could post the recipe so I could make it some other time that would be ace.

Orange Goji White Chocolate

Grind up & set aside:
• 1/2 cup goji berries (sticky; not really a powder)

Process until smooth:
• 1/2 cup melted cacao or coconut butter
• 1/2 cup raw cashews
• 1/2 cup agave nectar

Add to above, along with the goji powder:
• 1/2 cup cacao nibs
• 1/2 cup whole goji berries
• zest of one orange, finely chopped

Spread in a glass pie plate. Chill in the fridge or freezer until firm. Enjoy!

Oo sounds good, will be making that when I get more raw supplies for christmas. Thanks very much for posting! Frustrating, the only thing I don't have from those ingredients is cacao/coconut butte.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to substitute seeds for nuts in a brownie or fudge mix?
