My first meal of each day is fresh vegetable juice. I always hate to see all of the pulp go to waste...I generally do not keep it. So, I was wondering...if I purchased a Vitamix, could I throw all of my fresh veggies in it and turn them into juice? Can a Vitamix do that? Would it be like a juice or thick like a soup?

I have been thinking about getting a Vitamix even though my current blender does great. If I could drink whole food vegetable juice each morning that would probably make the sale for me!

Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

It would be as think as a Smoothie or like Soup, if you used more liquid. Your Blender will not do as well as a Vita-Mix. But YES you will be able to Drink ALL your Fruits and Vegetables. For now you can Compost your pulp. Our Bodies were made for Fiber and you will get it ALL with the VM.........In Joy..

Vitamix makes whole-food juice...you can thin w/ water. You get all the nutrients and benefits including fiber. It's an amazing machine~

From what I understand blending fruits and veg in a vitamix produces a smoothie consistency that you can use as a concentrate and water down to make "whole juice".
