Does anyone have COPD, or know anybody that has it? My friend was diagnosed with it, and she is very interested in trying to go raw, but I thought if I had some testimony to show her, that it might help a little more!

My brother has COPD. Unfortunately, he is not raw.

I am curious to hear of any testimonials for raw and COPD.

This is an OLD post, but I was wondering the same thing so I bumped it up into the present moment. I have an acquaintance who has COPD. She is nowhere near raw and probably doesn't eat healthy, but if anyone could recommend particular foods that may be helpful. I am thinking wheatgrass for mucus and all the other fab things is does and maybe pineapple and citrus for inflammation. Any thoughts?

My husband has copd and does really well as long as he keeps his weight down (any weight gain makes it more difficult for him to breathe). He exercises regularly with bicycle riding and pilates. He eats mainly raw but does eat chicken 1-2 nights per week.
