I'd like to juice fast, but I don't have time to take the juicer apart and wash it 5 or 6 times a day. It's a Breville juicer. It's easier than a lot of juicers but still takes time. I'm wondering if other's just clean their juicers at the end of the day. ?

I clean mine after every time cos it starts to ferment & smell nasty otherwise
I'm really disciplined about this. I will not allow myself to drink the juice until I've rinsed all the bits clean! Otherwise it takes a lot longer...

Another vote for immediately cleaning it out, it only gets harder to clean if you put it off.

Well... ok, I guess I'll clean mine too, but I'm not gonna like it. ;)

I'm wondering if other's just clean their juicers at the end of the day. ?I wonder if anyone does like the juice bars and leaves their juicer set up for their next juice. ?
I leave mine clean, on my work surface and ready to use at a moment's notice -- that way I can make juice and be drinking it within a few minutes. Makes all the difference, I find.

I find it extremely difficult to clean that little metal insert. Any suggestions?
With a little wire brush, like a toothbrush -- it was supplied with my juicer. Come to think of it, maybe a really firm toothbrush, bought specially for the purpose, natch, would work...

I use a tooth brush to clean my juicer parts. It works pretty good.

I juice-fasted for ten days last summer and was surprized that my body seriously only wanted juice twice a day, and a lot of water too.
I designated two brushes for juicer clean up, a bottle brush and one like you'd clean vege's with. I clean up while I'm drinking the juice and have a nice smooth efficient process established. It's so worth my time.
I had the exact same experience, Stina, when I also juice-fasted for 10 days. How strange -- 2 small glasses of apple a juice a day was all my body wanted. It was a fantastic experience.

I clean my juicer out once a day. Between juices I just pour a cup of water through it to rinse and empty the pulp pot if needs be.
