I don't know how to put this where it should go, but I hope someone can put it in the right place. Thank you:) . I was needing something sweet and solid tonight after my spicy raw soup. I remembered I had some dried cherries, and there were some some soaked peeled almonds in the fridge. I started snacking, but had a better idea. I got them going inthe mini chopper, then added some almond milk, and vanilla. Oh yeah! That hit the spot. It reminded my daughter and I of something we used to make for Thanksgiving from the Frugal Gourmet, called Cranberry Fool. It was just whipped cream, cranberries, orange zest, and vanilla. My other kids loved that stuff too, so I just came up with a very special raw dish for the big T day. I am also thinking Cherry, walnut, chocolate chipish ice cream. How do you raw chocolate chunks? I'll work on both and take pictures.

I made some chocolate chocolate-chip ice cream with the raw cacao nibs....

the base was just the two-three frozen bananas in the food processor, then nibs gradually added till the look or taste I wanted... i think i added a touch of honey as it was processing too in case the cacao became overwhelming.

Other raw ice-creams I made were variations of pecan ice cream, and they are so hard frozen that I thaw them a bit in the fridge or just keep them in the fridge and they're like a pecan mouse. soooo good!
