List the dehyrators and juicers that you LOVE!

I have 2 dehydrators-

The American Harvest round one with temp control and the Excalibur 9 tray (no timer) I love them!! :D I use them both since we're a family of four all eating raw. The Excalibur works wonderfully for bowls of food too. I still use the smaller, less expensive American Harvest too for nuts, and other stuff. They both work great!

I don't have a juicer yet, but want one after I can save for a VitaMix first! I look forward to the responses you get on that too!

I lurve, lurve, lurve my Blendtec, I have a Juiceman juicer, and an American Harvest dehydrator that I am not to fond of. I want something I can put dishesbowls/ into ex. Excalibur or Alissa's ( when she comes out with one). HTH!!

I enjoy using my excalibur 9 tray very much.

Juicer is such a pain imo. At home it's easier to make green smoothies in the blender.

I have the folks at natural markets do the juicing for me when I'm in the mood.

I have a excaliber 5 tray that I love. It is fun to try Alissa's recipes. As for a jucier right now I just have a $20 Hamilton Beach that I got on sale at Big Lots and it works fine, but I would like to get a better juicer someday. Good luck with your decsions :)

I have the round Gardenmaster, its ok. I got it long ago. I would like an Excaliber or something equivalant real soon.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Champion juicer. I got it at a garage sale. And I also have a Vitamix.* It does tons of stuff too!!

When I first started doing this raw thing my dh came up with ... "Its about time you started using all this kitchen stuff!!" Cute, real cute!:rolleyes:


* I've had a Vitamix for a couple of years, as well as a food processor. They have pretty much been sitting idle ....... til now. :D

I have a 4 tray Excalibur and since there is only two of us, it's perfect. I make flax crackers in it all the time!

I have a Jack La Lane Juicer which does the work, but I heard that Champion is much better and very recommended.

I also have a vitamix which I make a smoothie every morning, and is the reason I hardly use my juicer. I use the vitamix sometimes 5 times a day or more! I don't know how I lived without it!

same here, although i have no experience with other brands.

i did have a el-cheapo clear small round dehyrator, food spoiled in it.

Well, if you're really starting from scratch and looking for advice from the pro's I would check out Alissa's store - as she sells a Greenstar Juicer and a Lequip model (currently sold out) - and she also sells the Excalibur Dehydrator ... I believe she only promotes items she believes in (perhaps ones that she would be willing to work with?) - you can probably find the Lequip model at another retailer if the Greenstar is out of your price range.

That being said I received an Omega 8005 juicer as a gift and I absolutely LOVE it - very high quality juice with quick clean up - it does juicy fruits as well as greens - I'm doing wheatgrass this morning - this thing is a work horse! I have the chrome-ish model as white tends to stain ... something to think about if you are concerned with the appearance of your counter (if it's living on your counter - like mine is).

I have the 5 tray excaliber - I bought it here at Alissas store. I LOOOVE my dehydrator but I really wish I had gotten the 9 tray! :o ...

I want a vitamix ... someday!
