I made living flour out of home sprouted soft, white wheatberries. It tastes and smells similiar to raw sunflower seeds. It is beautiful! The only drawback was that it took 2 cups (or 6 cups sprouted) wheatberries to make 1 1/2 cups of the living flour.

I saw these whole wheat and chipotle pepper tortillas at Sprouts the last time that I was there that looked sooooo good and I am going to try to copy them. Soft whole wheat tortillas? YUM!!!

Sounds RAWonderful...Our "Keeper of the Forest" Monitor, RawkinsLoc is quite the RAW Pastry Chef....(I think she is) She saves and Dehydrates all of her useable pulp from Almonds etc., freezes them and always has some on hand to make pastry.

Your Tortillas, I know will RAWk. Thanks for Sharing with us and for having such an inventive Spirit.......That helps keep us RAW and Happy............

EVERY time i have tried to make something with sprouted wheat, it has gone in the compost. crackers out of alissas book, sprouted wheat salad, Poptarts out of alissas book (that one not only was a disaster, but expensive too), etc. i dunno. dehydrated sprouted wheat anything just doesnt work. for things like sprouted wheat salads, hulled barley works much better. too bad, but wheat gets thumbs down....

I made zucchini bread with sprouted wheat from Alissa's book and it came out great. All gone at the rawluck:mad:.

Is it a problem with sprouting (like mold)? Or did you dislike the final product?
