I'm sorry to start a thread on this (probably) simply question. But many of Alissa's/other's recipes call for soaking dates before putting them in the food processer (ex: fudge balls), does anyone for how long you should soak them for?

Thanks!!!!

Soak them until they are soft enough for the recipe you are using. Some dates are harder than others. Some, like Honey Dates, often often do not require soaking, as they are all soft and squishy as they are! :)

Dates aren't like nuts and seeds (there aren't the same enzyme inhibitors). They are soaked to make them softer and easier to use in recipes :)
