Holy Basil

Does anyone grow their own Holy Basil?
I'm assuming it would be better to eat the raw leaves/plant than to take a manufactured supplement but am not sure if I could easily get the theraputic dose from the raw plant.:rolleyes:
Any thoughts?

I do not grow them from seeds but I buy the living plant in a little plastic pot and I transplant it into a bigger pot so that I get to harvest it many times and it is fresh.
I do not know what amount of it you want because I have recently read something that caused me to cut back my consumption.

Over the years I've wasted a lot of money on supplements and herbs that didn't do anything, most any, some have helped. I'm actually, to my surprise, feeling the benefits of tulsi. But I'm also still educating myself about it too.
