Hey Everybody ...
After 35 Days of 100% raw food eating, its clear to me that there is no turning back. I have to go for it - to take the plunge, to dive right in and own my raw food living ... and so I ordered a dehydrator!!!! I went for the 9 tray excalibur figuring that even though its just me being raw right now, there will come a day when i will have a family and if I want a raw family, then I should be ready - a projection into the future I am creating through the present. Oh and in time for Thanksgiving too!!! Please send any dehydrated recommendations my way! Thanks - can't wait for it!!! Yay for raw!

hi! i'm so happy for you!, that you've found your raw high. isn't life a gift? food can be a source of life fullfilling energy and sultery tasty pleaure! i'm blown away by this fact every day.
a little advice to keep the raw high that you probably already know, but i'll say anyway just in case:
keep an eye over time how you feel after you eat certain things and stick to those that are highest in nutrition and make you feel really good after. dark green smoothies make my world as does my favorite raw bread, onion bread...sooooo good. here's a link for that:

alissas book is full of awesome raw recipes for the dehydrator but i also recommend matt amsdan's "Rawvolution" raw uncook book. smokin recipes.
i wish you so much joy in your beautiful raw life.

It seemed to me also that I "sealed the deal" wen I bought a dehydrator. I love making flax crackers in mine. I'v also made Alissa's breakfast muffins and rye bagels, which I really like. I want to try some breads soon....maybe that Essene bread. Oh....I made soem pesto stuffed mushrooms wich were then dehydrated. Tthey were wonderfu. And pizza--thaat was good, tho' it took a while to prepare--soaking, sprouting, dehydrating, etc. But it sure was tasty! Have fun!:p

Hey thanks for the responses! I am excited to make onion bread and pizza bread - and bread in general - that is my #1 craving after going raw.
I tend not to enjoy the heavier nut dishes that I can make in my food processor, so I wonder what my response will be to these dehydrated treats ... I am also excited to just be able to warm food up a bit - especially with autumn's leaves turning toward the billowing winds of winter. I can't wait to make warmed zuccini pasta with marinara! yay!
