Hi,

Alissa's book just came to my door and I'm so excited. I can't pour over the pages fast enough. So what sprouting staples does everyone use for her book?

So far I see I'll need:

lentils
wheat berries
buckwheat
alfalfa

Any others I'll need from her recipes?

Also what are the first recipes I should try? The cheese spreads look amazing and the calzones and burger bun and BBQ chicken fingers.

Okay ... the calzone recipe -- absolutley delicious... but make sure have a lot of time and energy to make that recipe -- it's sooooo worth it! But it really is very involved - easy to make - but lots of steps to it.

hmmmm... what to make ... what to make...
the cannoli's will rawk your world... so will the fudge balls, the ENCHILADAS are AMAZING.... I have SAD friends that actually REQUEST that dish when the come over!!

oooo... I"m so excited to see what you fix first!

StarFire,

I love your enthusiasm. Thinking I'll whip up a cheese spread first or something I don't have to sprout since I want something tonight for dinner to try. You've given me some good ones to try out.

I've been raw just over five months and this is my first raw book I've got. In the last few months I've just started a binder full of recipes I see on websites. Also ordered 5 other books from Amazon but was very excited for this one as I've heard so much about it. :D
