Is it ok to feed these foods to my dogs?

My dogs love apples, carrotts, bell peppers,nut butters, flax crackers,bananas, berries. Their favorite thing is kale stems which I think is ok and cleans their teeth. Are these safe dog foods?

Unless your pets are sensitive to them, just do it.

I've fed my dog, Spicey, many different kinds of raw foods and she is doing well. I'd say go for it. i don't see HOW raw foods could hurt anything at all.

Hi,
Onion can cause anemia in dogs! most dogs dont like it, but you get the odd one that does.

Walnuts and Macadamia Nuts, saying that most nuts are apparently not good for dogs.

Potato

Grapes

Chocolate- the Theobromine inside of it can be fatal, saying that, im not sure if it is in raw chocolate or not.

Im sure there is lots more!

I found a site saying that Garlic is poisionous to dogs, iv read other things that say it is good for them, so i would read up on it. a couple others unknown whether they are harmful or not are-

Avocados,Broccoli,Apple Seeds,mushroom,varies other seeds.

I would research research research!

Please read my post Good for you NOT for Dogs. There are some raw veggies fruits and nuts that will cause a lot of harm and possible death to your dogs.

Advacados were not mention as hamful to dogs but i don't know for sure and don't feed them to my dogs. What my dogs get each day:

Costo brand dog food for older dogs
1 banana
2 to 4 large carrotts
1 lg apple
1 lg handful of almonds
2 capsules of black currant oil
romaine leaves at least 2 lg each

My vet who sees my dogs 1 time a year for a check up is always amazed at them. They act and seem much younger than they are, there coats are full, shiny and soft as a cats, they are playful, full of energy, and their eyes sparkle. My 2 big guys run out in the yard and play hard till they drop then rest and get up to play more. No one limps, no sore muscles, lots of energy. If I forget the black currant oil or run out for a while my oldest will start favoring one of his legs but as soon as I get him back on the oil it goes away, so I try t o be faithful in giving it to them.

Seeing as there is a brand of dog & cat food based on avocados called Avoderm, I would quite imagine them to be a safe food for furry friends. I know you aren't supposed to feed them to birds, though. My pets have always eaten and enjoyed avocados - they love to clean out the shells!
