Well you could try stevia and fresh lemon and a tad of raw honey to make lemonade. :)

Get in the habit. If you have water around you will drink it. Carry a bottle of water with you and have it near by. It all adds up. Don't think how you don't like to drink water instead think about how great water is for you. It will make you beautiful and healthy, it's so good for you, it will give you energy, ect.

my dh has the same problem... just didn't drink water... so I started making him the master cleanse drink...

lemon juice
a drop of maple syrup
cayenne pepper for a good kick
and lots and LOTS of water added!

he loves it and even wants more. Plus its cleansing for his body - and the cayenne is soo good for his heart and circulation!

personally - I do think EVERYONE (including my dh) should drink plain water too... try drinking fiji water... I just read Queen from Queens blog and Queen wrote the fiji water has the highest alkaline of all bottled waters.... so it is very good for you! and it was so strange to read that - cuz of all the bottled waters...that's my favorite brand!! :D

RAWK ON!!

I down 2 glasses of water as soon as I get up in the morning. Then I go downstairs to work out and when I'm finished I drink 2 more glasses of water. Before I leave for work, I take some pills with 2 more glasses of water. The hard part's done, then, and I try to get another glass each in the morning and afternoon and evening.
When I had lots of kids at home and never thought about drinking water, I made myself drink a glass or two after each time I went to the restroom. That "rule worked pretty well, too, for a number of years.
So...invent a rule you can live with...and go for it. Water is very good for you. :)

I put lemon in mine generally. I also freeze fresh squeezed juices in ice trays. Apple, lemon, orange, etc. And then put the juiced ice cubes in my water. Yum.

Another thing I do is order bottled water in bulk by the case. That way I always have a bottle handy or can take it with me. I recycle the bottles of course.

Try installing a filter in your sink for instant purified water...this way you can just turn on the tap and you've got your drinking water without spending $$$.

You can try drinking a lot in the morning. I remember David Wolfe saying soething about that's what he likes to do, he gets most of it out of the way in the morning and then will sometimes drink small amounts throughout the day. Personally I try to get a nice amount drank (drinken? dranken?) in the morning and then whenever I go to sip some water take a few big gulps. :)

I found that after a year of being 100% I had to cut back on my water. (or move into the toilet) I had gotten into the water thing during my transition.

When I was trying to get into it what worked for me was the "keeping it near always" method mentioned above.

I think you just have to develop the habit. I have a 40 oz bottle at my desk that I fill up as soon as I get into work (office provides filtered water). I don't go to lunch until I finish it. It helped when I started pouring it into 12 oz cups, and drinking those one at a time until the bottle was empty. Wasn't as intimidating or something

I fill it up again at lunch; sometimes I finish it, sometimes I just drink a little. But I know I've had at least the 40 oz.

You'll run to the bathroom a lot at first until your body adjusts. Now, I don't go any more than I used before I starting drinking the water.
