Before going all raw on Aug 1st I didn't like bananas and never ate them but now I love em. The first time I tried a banana after going raw I was amazed at how good it tasted. Now I eat bananas everyday and its one of my favorite foods. Anyone else like bananas ?

I used to detest bananas. I can't stay it any stronger. I couldn't even stand their smell. Now I eat a couple a day at least; either alone or in smoothies. Weird!

Loooovin those bananas! http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/dancing-6.gif !! Strangely enough though... I cannot just eat any kind of banana.... like for instance.. the chiquita bananas in a store - I cannot eat them, I get really bad reactions from them!

But here in hawaii - we have a local variety - organic ... it's called an applebanana. It's about 4 or 5 inches long - kinda tart - yet sweet, and has the little tiny black seeds in them. they are wonderful - and make the BEST BANANA LEATHER TOO btw!!

I can eat those - but not other organic or otherwise -- bananas.... go figure... http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s43/FireStar_830/shrug.gif...
that's okay though -- cuz I looove apple bananas!

I'm finding the same thing with going raw. I've always loved bananas but now I lvoe them more, they taste better, even though I had eaten organic ones before raw. I now eat red bell peppers and tomatoes and like it, which is new! I'm finding as I go on, the more I'm enjoying more raw foods that I didn't like so much before.

i rarely ate bananas when i was cooked, but now i love them so much i eat up to four big ones a day! but i love them just as they are (not processed...). its weird because before my mum was the banana queen and we always joked as kids that she was a monkey in her past life as she'd eat 2 a day! sorry to ramble but im always saying how much i love them! :D

I've always loved bananas, even back when I was cooked. I used to slice them up and add them to oatmeal along with raisins. I still eat them that way, only now I don't cook the oatmeal.;)

The other difference between then and now is that I used to eat maybe 1-2 a day, now I eat maybe 4-5 a day.

I rem the 1st time I went into an organic grocery. I'm lucky to have an expanding area to live in where they are taking note of more health concious shoppers. There was a lady that bought a bunch of organic bananas for her child's bday party. She said she was there for a 2nd armload because the kids loved them so much, they bypassed all the cake, cookies, & other sweet treats for those!!

It was the 1st time I ever tried them. It really won me over to organic produce. They are as organic tomatoes & avocados. A whole diff food when organic. Well, they ALL are, but these are the ones I noticed you can tell the biggest difference in taste. I never CRAVED tomatoes before until I had organic ones. And that for ME was a biggie!
