anybody care to share their changes (if any) in the libido dept. ?
mine seems to have vanished with raw. (2 months) not that it matters right now anyway, but it's concerning me.
i know this is a personal subject, but i am curious. maybe PM me if you want.
mine has increased dramtically.
it was increasing when i was transitioning, but has gone wild since i went 95-100% raw.

Hmmm...I think it has slightly increased for me as well. But one thing I know for sure that helped things along at one point was Maca powder (Alissa has some sold in her online store)! I mean, I was having just a little in my chocolate or vanilla shakes and WHOA  ...that's all I can say!
But I think that eating raw balances one out either way. If a person had a low libido pre-raw, then after a while it boosts them up...and if a person was very "high strung" then it perhaps mellows them out a bit. At least that's what I've heard from a few...there have also been a few who say it didn't change one bit either way. It really depends.
Another thing to consider is that, eating raw also brings to the surface emotional things (emotional detox) and so, perhaps the decrease in libido has something to do with some "stuff" coming up that isn't physical at all...just a random thought...

oh yeah....mine is WAY UP especially when i am 100%
first aphrodisiac when i started was water from a young coconut with a tablespoon of spirulina in the blender....blend at least 3 minutes if you want the spirulina to get all creamy:D

Mine has not changed one bit. I've been 100% raw for 6 months, and been doing 1/2 - 1 t maca powder each day for the last 3 months....no change with that either.

i have pcos with high levels of testosterone, so my libido was always through the roof, LOL.
then they put me on meds  and i totally lost my libido,
like, sex was a chore. it was AWFUL.
then i went raw and it allll came back, even though im still on meds.
(the reason my ex stopped complaining about me eating raw, lol)
oh yeah,
i LOVE maca.
hahaha

Since you asked.....
Mine was already REALLY high. But now, since being raw, oh goodness. It's THROUGH THE ROOF! I mean, really nympho-type at this point. So, makes hubby happy, but times like right now, where he's gone for a month, it sucks!;) Feel sorry for that boy when he gets back.;) :p

Well mine has increased BIGTIME! It was not bad before going raw, but I think hubby is having a hard time keeping up with me now:p And I am putting the MACA in my morning green smoothie.

Mine was already *quite* high, so I haven't noticed much of a change. Perhaps a little though, as the increased body awareness and confidence feeds into that. *le shrug*
Oh, and I also have high testosterone levels with a touch of pcos. Are we all nymphos? :o

To the OP - you could try eating kraut, apparently studies have shown it to be the most libido-boosting food there is.
As for my libido, I haven't noticed a mega-increase, but wierdly, I've been feeling more loving towards my boyfriend, more affectionate and the like. Probably because I been eating raw cacao :)

After reading this thread, I clicked over to Alissa Cohen's store and purchased a lb. of the raw Maca powder. I'm so so excited to try it now. My husband is looking forward to it, too! :p
